I was able to bolt the electrical box bracket
on the shifter side to one hole welded to the
frame. I bolted one cover to this. But the cover
on the exhaust side is not on the bike right now.
I'll need to make a bracket of some sort for both
covers in order put them in stock location which
I do plan on doing. I removed the rubber hose
coming off the carb and have the POD clamped
directly to the carb and no problem. So yes the
pod is hanging out where everyone can see it. I
like the look, but it would look and work even
better with a K&N conical filter with an outerwear
which I'll probably change to. Check out JCopi's
bike in the picture gallery to get an idea of my
set-up except my pipe is still chrome with a 160
main jet. I think the idea of putting a hole in
the cover and running a filter through it to a
hose to the carb with a chrome cover around the
filter would be real cool. You're giving me
ideas. Or maybe I'll try making some kind of RAM
air intake system with an even bigger jet for
performance. Good luck!!
